The Best TikTok Ads Dropshipping Strategy! (Low Budget)
Starting a dropshipping business with limited capital and little knowledge can seem daunting. However, with a well-structured strategy and a few dollars, you can test any product and scale it to significant revenue. In my previous video, we successfully scaled a product from zero to over $ 4,000 in just 48 hours. In this article, I'm going to share the same strategy with you.
Step 1: Selecting a Product
To begin, we need a product to test. On my Discord, I provided a list of 10 recent winning products, ready to test and being scaled right now. This list is free and carefully selected based on market data and current trends. Choosing a good product is essential and this list can save you a lot of time and effort in the initial phase. In this example, we will test three products from that list.
Step 2: Setting Up TikTok Ads
Setting up TikTok ads can be quite beginner-friendly:
- Objective: Select "Website Conversion" as our advertising objective because our focus is on getting purchases.
- Campaign Name: Name the campaign using the format "CBO [Product Name]".
- Budget Optimization: Enable campaign budget optimization with a minimum of $ 50 to get enough data and see significant results.
Ad Group Settings
- Pixel & Event: Select your pixel and set the optimization event to "Complete Payment".
- Placement Settings: Select only TikTok and disable all other options. Disable user comments, video downloading, and video sharing to maintain control over the content.
- Targeting:
- Location: Choose countries with good sales potential (e.g., United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia).
- Age: Set to 18+.
- Gender: Leave it unless the product is gender-specific.
- Schedule & Budget: Start the ads the next day at midnight and have them run from 8:00 AM to midnight in the region you're targeting.
Ad Creation
- Identity: Create a personalized identity for your store using a random picture from Pinterest. This helps create a more personal connection with the audience.
- Text & Call to Action: Use phrases that create urgency (e.g., "I'm obsessed with $ 30 today"). For the call-to-action button, use options like "Get Yours Now," "Order Here," or "Shop Now".
- URL: Ensure the URL redirects to your website’s landing page.
- Publishing: Copy the ad group four more times to test variations and maximize the chance of success.
Step 3: Testing & Analyzing
When testing products, important metrics to consider include:
- Cost Per Click (CPC): As soon as the campaign spends $ 10, check the CPC. If it's above $ 1 and you don't have any add-to-carts, turn off the campaign.
- Budgeting: Run several CBOs at the same time if the budget allows. Testing with three CBOs gives more chances for a product to reveal itself as a winner.
- Daily Analysis: If the campaign shows sales on the first day, duplicate what's working and scale your campaigns.
- Optimizing: Metrics like CPC can improve as the ad spend increases. If the metrics are poor by midday, consider turning off the campaign.
Conclusion
Remember, the key to success in dropshipping is constant testing and data analysis. Each product and market is different. The products tested in my example consisted of one winner and two with poor metrics. This reinforces the reality that not every product will be a hit. By following these steps and regularly analyzing your metrics, you'll be on the right path to finding your winning product.
