Celebrating the BookTok Community for World Book Day

With over 126 billion views and 19 million posts to date, #BookTok has become a vibrant community on TikTok where book lovers, authors, storytellers, and educators come together to celebrate the joy of reading and find inspiration for their own stories.

To kick off the celebration, TODAY Show Host and fellow bookworm, Jenna Bush Hager, teamed up with other BookTok creators to start the #PasstheBook trend. This trend encourages the community to share their favorite books by duetting the video or commenting with the hashtags #WorldBookDay and #PasstheBook.
