TikTok API Community Live Finale

To conclude the month-long celebration, TikTok will be hosting a live finale tonight, May 27th at 6 PM PT. The finale will feature musical performances by top artists and creators from the API community, including Jay Park and Yuna. The event will also shine a spotlight on trailblazers Elena Shinohara and Mikaele. The live finale will be hosted by API Trailblazers @8illy and @inmyseams.

Billy, also known as @8illy, is a creative individual with a Cantonese-Chinese background. He uses his unique editing style to create captivating videos and short films. His content varies in style, ranging from creating playlists to immersing himself in a cardboard world.

Janette, known as @Inmyseams, is a Korean-American content creator who focuses on inspiring and useful content related to style hacks and makeup. She promotes inclusive fashion, breaks stereotypes, and sheds light on the beauty of her heritage. Janette also provides helpful tips for common style issues, such as how to fix loose pants, wear backless tops with a bra, and use boob tape in different ways.

Elena Shinohara is a Japanese rhythmic gymnast on the USA National Team. She shares her rhythmic gymnastics performances and showcases her flexibility on TikTok. Through her videos, Elena aims to inspire and motivate others to pursue their passions.

Mikaele, also known as @Maugamu, is a five-time World Fireknife Champion, specializing in the traditional Samoan dance form. He shares his Polynesian culture with the world through various activities, including taro harvesting, explaining Polynesian slang, and cooking traditional meals.
