TikTok Celebrates National Small Business Week

TikTok is celebrating National Small Business Week by highlighting the success stories of small businesses that have thrived despite uncertain economic times. From car detailing shops to food cart owners turned restaurant operators, these businesses have used TikTok to connect with their audience and drive real-world economic impact.

To further support small businesses, TikTok has announced partnerships with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and Black Girl Ventures. They will be investing $1 million each in these organizations to elevate entrepreneurship in the Latin community and support Black and Brown women entrepreneurs. Additionally, TikTok will be hosting workshops to help businesses of all sizes learn how to use TikTok's tools to find their audience and grow.

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation aims to empower Latin entrepreneurs by providing leadership development, education, and capital. Through their partnership with TikTok, they will launch programs to empower young entrepreneurs and small businesses across the country.

Black Girl Ventures focuses on providing economic growth opportunities to Black and Brown women through education and access to capital. TikTok's partnership with Black Girl Ventures will support their community programming, including entrepreneurship education, leadership development, networking, and funding opportunities.

In addition to these partnerships, TikTok will be hosting a four-week virtual workshop series where small and medium-sized businesses can learn from successful TikTok creators on how to engage with audiences and translate online success to real-world business success.

TikTok has become a platform where small businesses can thrive and reach new customers. By partnering with organizations like the Hispanic Heritage Foundation and Black Girl Ventures, TikTok is committed to building an inclusive and supportive platform for small business owners and entrepreneurs to share their stories and drive real business results.

Throughout Small Business Week and the month of May, TikTok will be spotlighting small businesses on their Newsroom and on the app itself. Users can engage and support these businesses by checking out the #smallbusiness and #boomingontiktok hashtags.
