To support hosts in managing their live streams, they can now assign a trusted person to help them by muting and blocking users. This feature ensures a welcoming and civil environment during the live stream. Keyword Filters allow hosts to limit bullying or hateful comments by turning off comments or adding up to 200 terms to the filter. This helps create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for creators to share more of themselves with the TikTok community. To promote a positive environment, viewers will be prompted to reconsider the impact of their words before posting potentially unkind or harmful comments. In the future, TikTok will introduce the ability for hosts and their helpers to temporarily mute viewers or remove unkind comments.
