Introducing Library: A New In-App Creation Tool on TikTok

At TikTok, we are constantly inspired by creators from around the world and their diverse ways of self-expression and creativity. Today, we are excited to introduce Library, a new in-app creation tool that provides access to a wide range of content from GIPHY. With Library, users can easily incorporate clips from their favorite shows, GIFs, memes, and more into their TikTok videos, opening up endless creative possibilities.

The Library will initially feature exciting content from GIPHY, including their collection of GIPHY Clips, which are GIFs with sound that capture culture-defining moments, popular quotes, and relatable reactions. This integration allows the millions of GIPHY users to enhance their storytelling on TikTok.

To use the Library, simply tap the new Library icon on the vertical sidebar of the camera screen. From there, you can explore trending content or search for specific items. Once you've selected your desired content, you can easily clip it to the desired length and continue capturing your video.

The launch of Library includes GIPHY Clips in categories such as Reactions, Quotes, People, and Iconic moments. We have plans to expand the Library further by adding additional content sources, audio and sounds, text templates, and creator content, as we strive to continuously innovate and inspire creativity within our community.
