Introducing TikTok Jump: A New Feature for Creators

TikTok Jump is a new feature that allows creators to share engaging and informative content on TikTok. With TikTok Jump, creators can link to mini-programs and services built by third-party providers within their videos. This opens up a world of possibilities for users to explore recipes, take quizzes, discover learning tools, and more, enhancing their experience on the platform.

TikTok has become a popular destination for both entertainment and learning. With TikTok Jump, we aim to create a seamless transition for our community, enabling them to take action and engage more deeply with the content they discover on and off the platform. We are gradually expanding the availability of Jumps to a wider group of creators.

We owe the success of TikTok Jump to our early beta collaborators, including Whisk, Breathwrk, Quizlet, StatMuse, and Tabelog. These partners have created convenient and informative Jumps that empower our creators to share mouthwatering recipes, calming breathing exercises, language flashcards, sports stats, and more. Additionally, TikTok Jump will feature Wikipedia content, aligning with our commitment to free use principles.

Excitingly, we will soon be launching Jumps from new providers such as BuzzFeed, Jumprope, IRL, and WATCHA. This expansion will bring movie reviews, beauty tutorials, and more to TikTok Jump, further diversifying the verticals and use cases of this feature. We are eager to see how our creators leverage these mini-programs in their content.

As we continue to evolve TikTok Jump, we are now opening the program to new providers who can offer exciting experiences for our community. With HTML5 compatibility and minimal technical integration, building and deploying Jumps is easy for providers. The possibilities for TikTok Jumps are limitless, and we look forward to collaborating with selected providers to create innovative Jumps that fuel the instructive and entertaining content our community craves.

Through TikTok Jump, we aim to make the in-app experience more dynamic and engaging than ever before. To learn more about TikTok Jump and start the application process to become a provider, visit www.tiktok.com/jump.

Correction: While Wikipedia was initially selected as one of the content providers for TikTok Jump, we want to clarify that neither Wikipedia nor the Wikimedia Foundation collaborated or partnered with TikTok on the Jumps feature.
