TikTok Expands Share to TikTok Feature for Developers

TikTok is constantly seeking innovative ways to enhance content creation within its communities. Today, we are expanding the Video Kit offerings to include Share to TikTok for developers across web, desktop, console, and mobile platforms. Share to TikTok, launched in 2019, was the first product in our TikTok for Developers program, which introduced new tools for third-party mobile apps and developers to integrate with TikTok, providing users with more features to create and share amazing content.

The Share to TikTok feature enriches the content available on TikTok, diversifies the types of videos users can discover, and offers additional editing choices alongside TikTok's built-in creative tools. By expanding the feature to web, desktop, and console-based developers, we aim to further advance the creative process and provide multiple avenues for users to create new, original, and high-quality content.

TikTok's Share to TikTok Video Kit enables third-party apps and developers to directly share content to TikTok, allowing users to edit their content using their favorite apps and seamlessly upload it to TikTok. We are excited to welcome new developers, including Clipchamp, Combo, Grabyo, Kapwing, Mobcrush, and LG U+.

Here are the new third-party apps integrated with TikTok:

  • Clipchamp: This app provides everyday editors with access to professional video creation tools, including an easy-to-use camera, screen recording, text-to-speech, green screen, and a collection of on-trend TikTok templates.
  • Combo: This platform helps creators save time by repurposing their content, allowing streaming creators to turn their highlights and clips into TikTok videos.
  • Grabyo: The leading cloud video production platform that equips broadcasters and media publishers with tools to produce, edit, and deliver live and real-time video content across major broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
  • Kapwing: An online video editor for modern creators, empowering them to tell meaningful stories with fast, collaborative, and smart editing tools, along with a shared workspace for creative teams.
  • Mobcrush: Empowers gamers and content creators to reach their fans across multiple social platforms. Creators will soon be able to log in with their TikTok account, upload gameplay or live stream moments, and create engaging videos to share with their TikTok audience.
  • LG U+: Integrating soon on their U2 platform, a cloud-based collaborative platform that enables content creators to effectively create and enhance video storyboards. Creators can work with their team and others to create intro and outro clips, add subtitles, and apply special effects to their videos on the U2 platform.

Share to TikTok not only enriches our content but also extends the reach of third-party apps by allowing their hashtags to appear.
