The Beatles Join TikTok and Bring Their Iconic Songs to the Platform

The Beatles have officially joined TikTok, bringing with them dozens of their most beloved songs. Fans can now follow @TheBeatles on TikTok, an account dedicated to the incredible legacy of John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

This October, the Let It Be album's remixed and expanded Special Edition will be globally released by Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe. @TheBeatles will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the Let It Be sessions, which will also be the subject of the upcoming Peter Jackson-directed documentary, 'Get Back,' premiering on Disney+ this Thanksgiving weekend.

For the first time ever, creators on TikTok will have the opportunity to use 36 iconic songs from The Beatles' catalog as soundtracks for their videos. This includes the 12 songs from the Let It Be album, such as 'Get Back,' 'Across The Universe,' and the title track, as well as other notable tracks like the John & Paul duet 'I've Got A Feeling' and George Harrison's 'I Me Mine,' which was the last song the band finished together.

In addition to the Let It Be songs, The Beatles have also provided all of their number one hits from the US and UK charts for creators to use as officially-licensed TikTok sounds. These 27 songs span from 'Love Me Do' in 1962 to 'The Long and Winding Road' in 1970, showcasing the band's evolution from pop phenomenon to studio innovators to cultural legends. TikTok creators can now express their affection with songs like 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' and 'Something,' shed a tear with 'Eleanor Rigby,' and rock out to hits like 'Day Tripper,' 'Paperback Writer,' and 'Hey Jude.'

The Beatles' presence on TikTok follows the successful launches of John Lennon's solo catalog, Paul McCartney's TikTok account, and Ringo Starr's participation in the #PeaceandLove birthday celebration. George Harrison's solo catalog was also recently launched to celebrate the 50th Anniversary Edition of his acclaimed All Things Must Pass album.

The arrival of The Beatles marks the beginning of #Rocktober, a month-long celebration of rock musicians on TikTok and the influential figures who paved the way for them.

Let's 'Come Together' to celebrate The Beatles' presence on TikTok. Use the hashtag '#TheBeatles' to share a video soundtracked by your favorite newly-added tracks, and make sure to follow @TheBeatles for more exciting content.
