TikTok is honoring Latinx culture and amplifying Latinx voices during Latinx Heritage Month. The platform is showcasing Latinx creators, announcing the 2022 Latinx Trailblazers, and investing in emerging Latinx creatives through the TikTok Latinx Creatives Grant.

Meet the 2022 Latinx TikTok Trailblazers

The 2022 Latinx TikTok Trailblazers are the next generation of trendsetters and digital entertainment leaders nominated by the community for their creativity and authenticity. Throughout Latinx Heritage Month, these Trailblazers will share their stories through creator spotlights on @tiktokcreators, @tiktok, and @casatiktok.

Investing in Emerging Latinx Creatives

The TikTok Latinx Creatives Grant, in partnership with MACRO and UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, provides financial support and coaching sessions to 10 grant recipients. These creators were chosen after pitching their dream creative projects, such as books, movies, TV shows, or other content mediums. Each recipient will receive $50,000 and personalized coaching sessions to bring their ideas to life.

TikTok LIVE Programming

TikTok has an exciting lineup of themed LIVEs featuring Latinx creators, including @beautyandtheberta, @danielrenemusic, @arimonika, and more. There will also be special LIVEs with Maluma, @ferxxo444, and @snowthaproduct. Throughout Latinx Heritage Month, @camilo, @grupofirme, and other Latinx musicians will be featured.

Recognizing TikTok's Internal Latinx Community with SOMOS

SOMOS, TikTok's employee resource group (ERG), empowers the Latinx employees within the company. SOMOS supports inclusion, solidarity, allyship, and education. The group will spotlight Latinx employees making an impact and hold a virtual career event to promote professional growth.

TikTok's Visionary Voices Latinx Heritage Month Salon Event

The Visionary Voices Salon series celebrates visionary Latinx creatives and culture changemakers. The kick-off event will convene the Latinx creator community and Latinx-owned small and medium-sized businesses. The event will include a panel discussion on the impact of creators and small businesses in driving culture and creativity.
