It's been a while since I last picked up the camera, and I must admit, I've been a bit of a slacker lately in terms of uploading videos and keeping up with my social media presence. But don’t worry, I have a story for you! I promise it won’t be all negative; I’m determined to be more proactive moving forward.

Let’s kick this off with a little haul. I’ve been keeping some items I purchased in a pile rather than putting them away, perfect for showing you all today. First up, I got some new laptop charging cables—boring but necessary. Next, I bought two records without even owning a record player yet! I snagged "Sabrina Carpenter's Short and Sweet" and "Harry's House" by Harry Styles for a great deal on Vintage. Aiden, my boyfriend, has a tendency to poke fun at me about my appreciation for Harry Styles ever since I mentioned my crush, so this collection is a fun little secret for now.

I also received a delightful PR parcel from Freeo! Although it came a tad late for summer, it was a great surprise. They sent along a massive tote bag with "Just a girl who loves her greens," greens powder, and a large cup. And then I ended up doing a bit of clothes shopping, even though I wasn’t supposed to. I ordered from Abercrombie, getting a new pair of jeans and two bodysuits. They’re really high-quality staples worth the investment, despite being a bit pricey.

Now onto the juicy personal updates! Aiden and I have been actively saving and searching for a flat to move into. The only real barrier has been my income, so over the past two months, I’ve been hunting for a new job. I applied for some exciting positions, even making it to the final round of interviews for what felt like a dream role. Sadly, I didn’t land that one. I had hopes for another position which seemed promising due to personal recommendations, but after a lengthy process, the salary they offered turned out to be way below what I would have expected for the work involved. I was super disappointed, as I had already prepped for commuting into London.

However, a silver lining emerged! After discussing with my mom, who also runs an admin company, I found out I could increase my hours at my current job, which I genuinely enjoy. I’ve been there for nearly four years and love the work-life balance it provides. So, I’m transitioning to a full-time role, and this arrangement is definitely better for my financial stability as we pursue our mortgage goals.

After that whole mess, I treated myself to some breakfast before filming a bunch of hair tutorial videos. I aimed for six this week, which is quite ambitious! After finishing that, my mom and I went on our usual Friday shopping tradition, this time to Next and M&S. Next had some cozy autumn decorations, and M&S had a small assortment of Halloween and Christmas treats.

Later, Aiden and I had a delightful drive-thru date at McDonald's, spurred by his mission to collect Monopoly stickers—something that brought a nostalgic joy. We shared moments of laughter and discussed our plans for the day.

As the day wound down, I realized that Aiden and I had an unexpected overlap in our schedules, giving us a rare day off together. I spent some cozy time preparing for the week ahead while sipping my coffee.
