How I Made $1427 With Dropshipping in 72H

Introduction

In this video, I set out to make as much money as possible with dropshipping in just 72 hours. My plan involved setting up a brand new store, finding a winning product, and getting some ad creatives made. If the store turned profitable, I intended to give it away to one lucky viewer, and if not, I planned to give away $ 500. Here's how it unfolded:

Three-Day Plan

Since time was short, I mapped out the next three days meticulously:

  • Day 1: Find a winning product and order it for next-day delivery. Start building the store immediately.
  • Day 2: Receive the product, film ads, and wrap up the store setup. Aim to get ads submitted and approved by the end of the day.
  • Day 3: Run ads for a complete day and monitor sales.

Finding the Winning Product

To find a winning product quickly, I used my secret method with AutoDS, a dropshipping software tool. By exploring its marketplace and Facebook Ads section, I came across several potential products. One feature I particularly utilized was the ability to filter ads by likes and comments to identify popular, trending items.

The winning product I settled on was a wooden hand prop, an eye-catching item I believed could generate significant sales if marketed to the right audience.

After ordering the product through Amazon, I started working on building my Shopify store. I grabbed a 3-month trial for just $ 1 and began designing the store.

Day 2: Product Arrival and Store Setup

The next morning, my product arrived. It was a well-crafted wooden hand that could be posed in various positions — a perfect product for creating engaging video ads. I spent the morning filming these ads and editing them using CapCut.

After finalizing the videos, I resumed work on the Shopify store. Using the Dawn theme, I created a clean and straightforward design. I ensured that no more than three colors were used to avoid a scammy appearance and added some social proof for credibility.

Advertising Campaign Setup

For advertising, I chose to use TikTok due to its broad reach and powerful algorithm. I created a new ad campaign and set it with a $ 500 daily budget. Importantly, I let the algorithm manage the targeting as it typically produces better results.

I uploaded my video ads and included compelling call-to-actions, such as "24-hour flash sale, get yours now." After submission, the ads got approved without issues.

Day 3: Monitoring Sales

The next morning, I woke up to the pleasant surprise of having already made nine sales. Sales kept flowing in throughout the day, and by 4 PM, we had reached 32 sales. Although the pace slowed down later, we still managed to get a few more sales before the end of the day.

By the following morning, we had accumulated an additional five sales, making the total count 37 sales.

Conclusion and Giveaway

In total, the 37 sales amounted to $ 1,110. After deducting $ 17 per unit product cost, a $ 1 Shopify trial, and $ 580 in advertising expenses, our profit stood at $ 454. Given this success, I decided to give the store away to one of my viewers but also added another $ 500 giveaway to sweeten the deal.
