Getting so many Bargains in the charity shops - UK EBay & Vinted reseller
Introduction
Hello everyone! Jack Flips eBay here, and I hope you’re all doing well. Joining me today is Chloe, who’s back in the videos! We’re currently in Daventry, which we’ve never explored before, and I can’t wait to hit the charity shops. Before diving in, I wanted to share that I’ve been having great success with my sales lately—I’m selling items daily on both eBay and Vinted, and I’m actively listing and promoting my work across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
In Daventry, which is a short drive from my hometown of Northampton, there are about six or seven charity shops to explore. I’m hoping to find some hidden gems for resale. I’ve currently got around 130 active listings, but I aim to bump it up to about 160 soon. Unfortunately, my trusty resale bag is at home, but hopefully, Chloe’s tote will yield some good bargains.
As we navigate the shops, we make our way to the first charity shop, Wood Green. The selection isn’t great today. I pass on some items like a "Stranger Things" top and a retro band tee, both priced around £15. Chloe, however, spots a lovely "All Saints" top for just £5, which is a potential winner.
We then continue to the Air Ambulance shop, searching for more valuable finds. I come across a Pluto toy priced at £7 but decide to leave it behind. Chloe stumbles onto a couple of Tommy Hilfiger items, and while they look good, I’m not entirely convinced they’re worth the price.
I also spot some vintage Levi's in the British Heart Foundation shop but ultimately leave them as the condition isn’t up to par. After hitting a few more stores with little luck, we venture into the Salvation Army and are met with mixed results. However, we continue searching and discover more promising items, including some women's running tights that could bring in a profit.
The day goes on with a mix of excitement and disappointment, but as we wrap up our charity shop tour, I manage to find a few decent items. Despite some disappointment in Daventry’s offerings, the trip overall was still quite fruitful, especially at the final few shops.
Afterwards, Chloe and I decided to treat ourselves to Starbucks, and I had the chance to show you all what I’ve sold recently. I concluded the day with successful items sold, including a trip to Amazon clearance and a couple of items from my recent listings.
Chloe also scored an "All Saints" top with the tags still attached! What a steal for just £5, and she’s likely to list it for around £30.
As for the charity shops of Daventry? They may have had limited offerings, but it’s always an adventure searching through them. Until next time!
