Antiquing for Christmas DECOR & THRIFT HAUL ♥️
Introduction
It was my birthday, and Tyler surprised me with a trip to Shelbyville, where we visited one of my favorite spots: Reclaimed on Main. The plan was to do some antiquing and see what unique treasures we might find. The excitement of combining a birthday celebration with the thrill of thrifting was palpable.
As the holiday season approaches, I’ve been reflecting on how the warmth of love brings everyone together. It's the time of year when we gather, share moments of joy, and appreciate the simple pleasures of family and friendship. The snowy landscape serves as a perfect backdrop, reminding us of the magic of Christmas.
Getting into the holiday spirit, I couldn't help but think about the meanings behind our cherished traditions. Christmas is more than just a date on the calendar; it's a magical time that brings people closer.
Thrifting Treasures
During my trip, I discovered some incredible vintage finds that I couldn’t wait to share. Here’s a rundown of my top treasures:
- Vintage Ornaments: I found a charming little pack of gold vintage ornaments still in their original packaging for just $ 1.25. These will add a lovely touch to my holiday décor.
- Victorian Style Mirror Ornament: This stunning ornament cost $ 4. It features a pretty Victorian design that will be a great addition to my collection.
- Brass and Pearl Ornament: Priced at $ 7.50, this beautiful ornament combines elegance with a vintage feel.
- Handmade Victorian Booty Ornament: For only $ 2.50, this handmade ornament crafted from a doily is a unique find that matches perfectly with my aesthetic.
- Holly Lots: A nostalgic pack of holiday decor from what I suspect is the 50s or 60s, purchased for just $ 3.
- Spaghetti Santa: This delightful handmade Santa, complete with an elf, was a surprising find at only 79 cents! I plan to display it prominently this season.
Despite these new additions not matching my current holiday decor perfectly, I just couldn’t pass up these visually appealing pieces, especially with their reasonable prices.
Before I put out my home tour, I felt compelled to share this thrift haul with you all. It’s always a joy to connect with fellow decor lovers, and your feedback means so much to me!
