Effect creators have already brought joy, creativity, and entertainment to TikTok through the effects they have created during the early beta phase of Effect House. Over 450 effect creators have published effects on TikTok, resulting in the creation of more than 1.5 billion videos and over 600 billion views worldwide. With the expansion of the Effect House beta, we look forward to seeing more creative builders develop engaging and exciting effects for our global community.

Safety and inclusivity are at the core of creative effects on TikTok. In addition to the Community Guidelines, effects must adhere to the Effect Guidelines, which aim to create a welcoming and empowering environment for everyone on TikTok. Effects that promote colorism, negative stereotypes, or depict cosmetic surgery are not allowed. All submitted effects are reviewed by our Trust and Safety team to ensure compliance with our policies before being released to the TikTok community. Users can also report effects that violate our policies using the 'Report Effect' feature. If an effect is found to be violative, it will be removed, and the creator will be notified. We strive to proactively identify and remove violative content. If an effect was incorrectly approved or used in a way that violates our Community Guidelines, it will be removed along with any violative videos.

To celebrate the impact of the Effect House community and inspire future creators, we spotlight effect creators who bring their artistry, ingenuity, and creativity to life on TikTok. Discover Effect House on TikTok by tapping on an effect in a video and viewing its results page, where effect creators' profiles are linked. When recording videos, you can see the effect creator's username linked below the effect's name.
