TikTok Dropshipping Challenge (INSANE RESULTS)

Introduction

Ever wondered if you could make $ 10,000 in a week using TikTok ads for a Shopify dropshipping store? In this article, we dive deep into my one-week challenge where I aimed to do just that. You will see my full strategy, from setting up a store to running advanced methods like CBO, ACO campaigns, and the infamous glitch method. Stay tuned because the results were nothing short of amazing!

Why a General Store?

Most dropshippers start with a one-product store, but here are three reasons why I opted for a general store:

  1. Grant Cardone's 10x Rule: The 10x rule suggests setting goals ten times higher and then taking ten times more action. Testing ten products seemed more promising than just one.
  2. Testing Variety: I wanted to observe what would happen if I tested ten products in a general store. Would I find a winner, or maybe multiple?
  3. Unique Setup: I was curious to see how a single CBO ACO campaign would perform with ten products under one pixel.

Day 1: Setting Up the Store

First, I needed viral products that could sell for $ 30-$ 50. After researching on TikTok, I selected ten products that fit the criteria:

Products
Product 1
Product 2
Product 3
Product 4
Product 5
Product 6
Product 7
Product 8
Product 9
Product 10

I then built the general store using the free Debutify theme. It was crucial to have a clean homepage and detailed product pages, including multiple images, descriptions, FAQs, and reviews.

Day 2: Getting Video Ads

I needed 30 video ads (three per product) and chose to outsource this to Dropify Ads. The service was quick and efficient, providing high-converting videos shot in a User-Generated Content (UGC) style.

Day 3: Launching TikTok Ads

I launched a CBO ACO campaign with a $ 1,000 daily budget but recommend starting with $ 300 when you're starting out. Each ad group was customized for the target audience.

Day 4: Analyzing Results

The first day’s results were promising but showed some products outperformed others. This data helped kill non-performing ads and focus on high-potential items.

Day 5: Using the Glitch Method

To scale further, I used the glitch method, a black-hat strategy making my ads 5-10 times cheaper. The glitch campaigns drastically reduced CPM and CPC, leading to a significant increase in sales.

Day 6: Scaling Up

With the glitch method bringing in businesses, I continued scaling these campaigns and was able to relax while monitoring and adjusting spends.

Day 7: Final Results

The store generated over $ 10,000 in revenue:

  • Total Spend: $ 1,200 (videos) + $ 300 (products) + $ 1,000 (initial ads) + $ 1,920 (glitch ads) + $ 2,452 (product costs)
  • Total Profit: $ 3,742.76
  • Profit Margin: 35%
