Introduction

Hello everyone! It's Tova, and I'm thrilled to be back after an extensive seven-week break. For those new to my channel, I run an online clothing brand and e-commerce business called Reborn Club, where I create apparel, journals, accessories, and more, all designed to spread positive and uplifting messages. After a long trip through South and Central America, which included destinations like Peru, Chile, Panama, and Costa Rica, I’ve returned feeling a bit emotional and a little lost as I readjust to daily life. Although it’s been incredible to reconnect with family and friends, today marks the first full Monday where I plan to dive into work on my new collection for Reborn Club.

Travel Reflections

Let me take a moment to share some highlights from my trip. We began in Lima, Peru, and traveled to Huacachina, a breathtaking desert oasis where I was speechless by the rolling sand dunes. Next, we embarked on a five-day hike along the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu, traversing the majestic Andes and even entering the Amazon jungle. The altitude was intense, but achieving the summit was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.

After Peru, we headed to Chile, which included the spectacular San Pedro de Atacama Desert, where I felt like I was on Mars. Then, we traveled to Panama, enjoying the island vibes and some much-needed relaxation before moving on to Costa Rica. Despite the rainy season, I was surrounded by nature's beauty and witnessed a plethora of wildlife.

Getting Back to Work

Returning home has posed a challenge as I’ve struggled to find my rhythm in designing for my new collection. Today, however, I’m determined to focus. I’ve had an idea for a collection inspired by my trip; I would call it "Interconnection." This concept is a reflection of how everyone I’ve met and everything I've learned, along with all the places I've visited, contribute to who I am.

As I started sketching, I wanted the design to consist of three interconnected spheres. These would symbolize my three sources of connection: the people in my life, the places I've been, and the knowledge I've gained from these experiences. I found this idea striking and deeply resonated with me after my travels.

Later in the day, I decided to take a break from designing and picked up my ukulele, which I had been learning throughout my travels. Playing was such a joyful part of my trip, and it helped bring me back to the present.

That evening, I spent time journaling, reflecting on my emotions, and processing my experiences, which brought a sense of calm.

On another note, after completing my designs, I received an email about an exciting opportunity with a company wanting to collaborate with me. This news has motivated me to push through the feeling of complacency that I’ve experienced since returning home.

The New Design

My most recent design represents an interconnectedness that has arisen from my life’s journey. The three spheres represent the people I've known, the places I've been, and the lessons I've learned. In the middle, something larger represents the sum of these experiences, encapsulated in the message "I am."

I’ve sent the designs to friends for feedback, and I feel proud of the direction this collection is heading. I aim for the clothing to evoke feelings of comfort, familiarity, and connection — similar to a girlfriend wearing her boyfriend's oversized hoodie.
