The Weirdest Rules at My School

Attending the same school as famous actors and child stars offered a unique and at times bizarre experience. Here are some of the weirdest rules we had to follow, and at the end, I'll give you a clue about one of the celebrities I went to school with!

Rule #1: Disappearing Acts Were Allowed

It was completely normal for students to vanish for days, weeks, or even months to film a movie or a Disney show. They would then randomly reappear one day as if nothing had happened.

Rule #2: The "I" Word was Forbidden

Internet usage was strictly banned at our school. Even casually mentioning an iPhone could result in suspension. The administration enforced this rule rigorously to ensure the focus remained on education and in-person interactions.

Rule #3: Follow the Leader (Teacher)

From the first grade onward, each student was assigned a teacher who would progress through the grades with them until graduation. This could turn out to be a great thing or a tragic one, depending on the teacher-student dynamic. Some students even chose to be held back or skip a grade to switch teachers.
