Dropshipping for a Year Challenge : "Showing Potential" | Day 14
Introduction
It’s Day 14 of the Dropshipping Journey, and we’re officially two weeks in! Today, I’d like to walk you through the developments and learnings from today’s adventures in dropshipping.
Launching Ads
Last night, I launched the ads, and today’s performance brought in two sales, totaling $ 179. I’m excited to report that our Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) is currently sitting at 2.68, indicating a profitable day overall.
Experimentation with Ads
Today has been relatively chill, and the ads are starting to show some promising potential. I’ve been considering what tactics to employ moving forward. If we maintain around a 2.0 ROAS for a couple of days, my plan is to scale aggressively. My approach will involve both vertical scaling of the main ad and horizontal scaling by duplicating the ad campaigns.
I also intend to test two new creatives since the current Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO) strategy allocated most of the budget to the first ad, which had performed well earlier. However, its performance has begun to decline, raising concerns that it may continue to tank. I want to allocate some budget to the new creatives in hopes that they’ll prove to be more profitable and effective.
Next Steps
For now, I believe the best course of action is to take a hands-off approach and avoid making any hasty changes. Staying focused on our strategy will be key.
