So, what is that? 30-40 bucks for a million views. Yeah, 30 bucks. That just doesn't make sense. You should get the exposure over getting the money. 

If you can get a million, two million views consistently for a brand deal, depending on your niche, you can easily make money from it. When you're sacrificing brand deals, a billion views on TikTok now in 2022, if that's your consistent rate, you're easily getting 10-20k per promotional post. 

If you average 100k views consistently, you can easily get 5k. So, for a million views, you probably make way more than 10-20k, depending on your niche. 

You're gonna want to go for engagement over joining the creator fund at this point on TikTok because the brands that are marketing on TikTok, depending on your niche, there's a lot of money there. 

It's not worth the 30-40 bucks for a million views.

As you might have noticed, TikTok is region-based, which means your For You Page (FYP) and videos will always be shown to users from your region. This creates a challenge for users in smaller countries trying to grow their presence and also imposes limitations on new TikTok features. In this article, I will show you how to trick TikTok into thinking you're located in the U.S., though this method works for other countries as well.

### Two Methods to Change Your TikTok Location

#### Method 1: Using a Foreign SIM Card

1. **Remove Your Current SIM Card**: To change your location to a different country, you first need a SIM card from that country. For example, if you want to appear as though you're in the U.S., you must use a U.S. SIM card.
2. **Insert the Foreign SIM Card**: Replace your current SIM card with the foreign one. TikTok bases your location partly on the SIM card in use.
3. **Open TikTok App**: Once you start using your phone with the foreign SIM card, TikTok will display content as if you are located in the target country.

#### Method 2: Using a VPN

Welcome back to the channel! Today, we’re diving into the second episode of building a TikTok-themed page from scratch. This series starts with zero followers and aims to build up to 10K and beyond, ultimately turning it into a source of income. If you’re new here, my name is Ben, and I create videos on investing in the stock market and overall finance. Assuming you’re already caught up, let’s move on. After around two weeks from the last update, we’ve hit 10K followers. Naturally, I signed up for the TikTok Creator Fund without hesitation. The signup process took longer than expected due to the need for tax information and age verification, but within 20-30 minutes, TikTok confirmed my eligibility and acceptance.

Curious about the TikTok Creator Fund, I explored its FAQ. TikTok has an initial \$ 70 million fund for its EU members, aspiring to grow this over time. Your earnings depend on where your audience is from, the number of views, and video engagement. For example, my audience is about 50% from the US and 50% from the UK, with some views from Germany and other non-English-speaking countries. The engagement (likes, comments, shares) also factors into how much you'll earn. Fortunately, I haven’t encountered any community guideline violations, which is crucial for staying in the fund.

TikTok states there's no minimum or maximum payment—they pay monthly, and you can withdraw earnings after 30 days. Some creators believe being in the fund affects video performance, but we’ll have to wait and see.

As of this recording, we’ve hit 12K followers. Two recent posts significantly boosted our account, pushing us to 11K and then 12K followers quickly. I’m identifying the types of posts that generate the most engagement and averaging 1-2 million views per week.

In terms of earnings, in my bio, there’s a sign-up link to Coinbase. If someone deposits over £70, I get a free £7 in bitcoin. So far, I've earned about £14. It’s a modest start, but considering no initial investment, it's a profit.

On a side note, I’ve been promoting my YouTube channel through my TikTok. This has led to an increase in subscribers. On my personal TikTok page, I had a post hit over 100K views, gaining 30 subs in a day. Using TikTok more effectively is showing positive results for my YouTube.

Regarding the Plug App, I’m still planning to use it despite my current inactivity. Creators can earn around 2 pence per thousand views on TikTok.
