TikTok strategy for artists

TikTok Strategy for Artists

People throughout history have created the greatest hooks of all time, only to see them die in their notepad because they were unable to complete the entire piece. They had the hook or the first line, but couldn't develop the rest of the material.

One of the key things I've been trying to get across to up-and-coming artists is that if you have something fire, but you can't figure out the rest of it, that should be your TikTok content. Make it a challenge. You never know which producer might hit you up. There are countless potential ghostwriters out there who could see your piece on their For You page.

Of course, you shouldn't post it on the first day. Play with it a little bit first. However, if you've been stuck with this hook for six months and haven’t done anything with it, maybe it's time to just put it out there.
