TikTok Dropshipping Is Dead, Try This Instead

Introduction

While everybody is talking about Instagram organic and TikTok organic, you know what's actually crushing it currently? It is YouTube. YouTube is currently absolutely printing money, and this will not just be a regular Dropshipping video, but I'm going to show you what is special on YouTube specifically and how to optimize everything so you ensure success on YouTube organic. So basically this will be a full YouTube organic Dropshipping breakdown.

My Credentials for This Discussion

Before we actually get into it, how am I actually qualified to talk about this? Well, number one, my Dropshipping clients made close to $ 100 million with their dropshipping stores, and a big chunk of that actually came from YouTube organic. Second, even though I hate flexing dashboards, I've got a bunch of comments that people think I don't do it myself, and that's why I'm going to do it right now. As you can see, here are some of the figures:

  • The first store yesterday made $ 8,000.
  • The second store also made around $ 55,000.
  • The third store made £1.6k which is around $ 2,000.

8 plus 2 is 10 and then 15.5 from different stores. These are not even all of my stores because I own a pretty big portfolio of dropshipping stores and a few other companies in general. So that’s how I am qualified. Let's actually get into the YouTube breakdown.

How YouTube Virality Works

Virality on YouTube functions a bit differently than on TikTok or Instagram. On YouTube, videos might not go viral right away. They might have no views for a few days and then slowly start to grow, but they also keep growing indefinitely. Here's an example from one of my students:

One of his viral videos had like 5.4 million views but only after 90 days of being uploaded. The first million views came after 20 days.

The Long Game

On YouTube, patience is key. YouTube has a search feature that's very relevant because many people actively search for content. Shorts also pop up at the top, engaging viewers differently compared to TikTok, where users scroll through the Shorts section exclusively.

For another example, one video by another student has 57 million views and started with zero for the first 5-10 days. It later climbed to 40 million views and took another 2 months to get to 57 million. What this teaches us is to keep your YouTube channels in mind forever. Always recheck your old videos to see if any have suddenly gained traction.

The Passive Income Potential

Your YouTube channel can generate passive income for months or even years. Videos that keep getting views will continue to result in sales. This is very different from other platforms where you usually don’t get sales half a year after you've posted a video.

This usually happens with non-trendy, evergreen videos. Another significant difference on YouTube is that users build a much stronger connection with creators, creating a real community. A YouTube follower is generally more likely to engage with your videos compared to a TikTok follower, which increases the value of your following.

The Value of Ad Revenue

People make surprising amounts of money from YouTube AdSense. One student with 3 million subscribers posts low-conversion content and still makes around 10 to 20K a month just from ad revenue.

Age Demographics and Algorithm Benefits

YouTube users are generally older compared to Instagram users, which usually translates to more purchasing power. Higher age means more money as older users typically have credit cards and can make purchases.

On YouTube, the algorithm is generally more forgiving. You don’t necessarily have to use a VPN, although it's still recommended. Shadowbans are much rarer, and targeting the USA is naturally easier.

Summary

In summary, YouTube cannot be overlooked. Every video you post should also be uploaded to YouTube. Good videos go viral, and bad videos don’t, regardless of the platform. There are three components to successful organic growth:

  1. Quality of the product
  2. Quality of the video
  3. Mastery of the algorithm

Ensuring these three components will lead to significant earnings.
