The TRUTH About Temu

The TRUTH About Temu

I've made a bunch of videos about various tech products from different platforms before, but after conducting some research, I found some alarming information about Temu that I haven't seen anyone else discuss.

The reason Temu can keep its prices extremely low is that it acts as a middleman between Chinese manufacturers and customers. Some of the products I've ordered from Temu, like these fake eight-dollar AirPod Pros, turned out to be surprisingly decent. However, there's more beneath the surface.

Temu is owned by a company called PDD Holdings, which also owns another e-commerce platform called Pinduoduo. Pinduoduo is essentially the same as Temu but targeted towards a Chinese customer base. Interestingly, Pinduoduo was recently suspended from the Google Play Store because it was found to contain malware. This malware could track your location, access all your files, change your settings, and even read your notifications and private messages.

While Temu hasn't been found to contain the same malware yet, it's wise to exercise caution when using the platform. Let me know what you think in the comments.
