Setting up a mouse enclosure using ONLY products from my store & adopting 4 new mice!

Introduction

Welcome back to my channel! This week is particularly exciting as I plan to adopt some new mice after not getting any new ones for about a year. In case you missed my previous video, I have relocated my current mice to a bigger enclosure in another room, leaving this smaller one empty, which I can now use for the new mice temporarily.

Stocking Up for the New Mice

Since my new enclosure is significantly larger, I had to use almost all of my current mouse supplies, making it necessary to stock up again. I decided to take on the challenge of setting up the new enclosure solely with products from my own store, Boggle Buddies. Here’s how it went!

I started by grabbing a few essentials. I offer a variety of water bottles in my store, but since I have many at home, I didn’t need to pick any up. For wheels, I only had wooden ones available, which I’ve previously used but decided to leave for future customers and borrow one from the mice I already own.

When it comes to foraging mixes and herbs, I also have plenty at home, so I avoided getting more to ensure there's enough stock for others. I aimed to gather just the supplies I genuinely needed while ensuring I leave enough for customers of Boggle Buddies.

Setting Up the Enclosure

After gathering supplies, I returned home to set up the enclosure. I rounded up almost everything I needed from my store. The setup included essentials such as coconut hides, foraging toys, ladders, and bridges. Although I wanted to create a cozy space for the mice using mostly my products, I realized that some stock shortages would require me to find items from other sources later.

As I began to fill the bottom of the enclosure, I left space for a Night Angel wheel since I didn’t want to take one from my store for the video. I cluttered the enclosure with various items from Boggle Buddies, including a cute pumpkin and some new sprays for added flair.

One item I don’t carry in my store is hay, which I considered stocking but remain unsure if there is enough demand. I completed the setup but realized I needed to add hammocks, which I do not sell due to my sewing skills (or lack thereof).

Introducing My New Mice

The final step was picking up the new mice! Initially planning to adopt just three young female mice, I ended up bringing home four. They were all adorable and extremely brave, quickly exploring their new environment. The group includes an older female named Billy, who is around two years old and unfortunately has some tumors, but she was in need of a home and company after her previous friend passed away.

The younger mice are Rook, Robin, and Sparrow, each friendly and soft. Rook is a solid black female, Robin resembles her namesake with a sweet chocolate pie coloration, and Sparrow stands out as very confident and friendly.

Billy, being the eldest, has a different name than my bird-themed naming convention, but I felt it appropriate to keep her name due to her age and prior ownership.

Conclusion

In summary, I successfully set up a mouse enclosure using primarily products from my Boggle Buddies store and welcomed four delightful mice into my life. If you’re interested in any supplies for your own mice or small pets, be sure to visit Boggle Buddies!
