My NEW Low Budget TikTok Ads Dropshipping Strategy

Step 1: Find a Winning Product
Before launching TikTok ads, you need a winning product. For this tutorial, I’ve already set up a store for a waist shaper sundress. I sourced this product from my list of 10 winning products from July. On my Shopify store, I sell one unit for $ 29.95 with an additional $ 4.95 shipping fee, bringing the total cost per sale to around $ 22, leaving over $ 20 in profit per unit.
Step 2: Set Up Your Shopify Store
Your store should be simple yet effective:
- High-quality visuals
- Trust-building reviews
- A clear and compelling product page
Step 3: Create a TikTok Ads Campaign
Initialize Your Campaign
- Head to ads.tiktok.com and create an account.
- Click the 'Campaign' tab and choose to create a new campaign.
- Select 'Advanced' settings.
- Choose 'Website Conversions' as your advertising objective.
- Name your campaign (e.g., "Waist Shaper Sundress Testing CBO").
- Enable Campaign Budget Optimization (min $ 50/day).
Ad Group Setup
- Name your ad group (e.g., "All Ad Creatives").
- Select your TikTok Pixel (auto-created via the Shopify app).
- Choose 'Complete Payment' as your optimization event.
- Under 'Placements,' select only TikTok (disable CapCut, Pangle).
- Disable user comments, video downloading, and sharing.
- Disable 'Search Result.'
- Set the location to either the USA or UK and target females aged 18+ (for this female-oriented product).
- Leave all interest and behavior targeting blank.
- Schedule your ad to run from 8:00 AM to midnight in the target region’s time zone.
Step 4: Create Ad Creatives
- Go to Minea.
- Search for your product to find and download competitors’ ad creatives.
- Upload three different video ads to TikTok.
Step 5: Launch and Analyze the Ads
Day 1 Recap
- Spend $ 50 and analyze the data:
- Column setup in TikTok Ad Manager: Add Group ID, Budget, Bid, Ad Scheduling, etc.
- Key metrics: CPC (below $ 1), CTR (above 1%), Add to Carts, Cost per Purchase.
- If an ad reaches your breakeven point without sales, turn it off.
Day 2 Recap
- Set the date range to 'Today Only’ in TikTok Ad Manager.
- Use yesterday’s data to inform today’s ad decisions.
- Turn off underperforming ads and focus on profitable ones.
- Plan for scaling to $ 1,000 per day using my bid scaling strategy.
