Lets Get Back to Grinding! Looking for the Red Deer Great One in the Hunter: Call of the Wild

Introduction

Welcome to our stream where we dive back into hunting for the elusive Great One Red Deer in The Hunter: Call of the Wild. It's been a while since our last grind, and tonight, we're excited to explore different zones, track various Red Deer, and hopefully make progress towards spawning that Great One.

Starting Off Strong

We began our adventure by checking our need zones and quickly spotted a 7 Very Hard Red Deer. After a few attempts, we successfully downed him with a gold flesh shot, marking a great start to our grind. We also reviewed drink zone times so we could optimize our hunting strategy, grabbing a few more Red Deer along the way, although not all shots were perfect.

Exploring and Resetting Zones

With the drink zone times in mind, we set off to check different areas. The game mechanics around animal behavior, like their need zones for eating, sleeping, and drinking, led us to track the movements of various Red Deer across the map. We aimed to only take down animals with level six and above, ensuring we could boost the chances of bigger spawns in future resets.

Legendary Encounters

Excitement mounted as we encountered a 9 Legendary Red Deer during the grind. Although our shot placement wasn’t ideal, just seeing a legendary was thrilling. Quickly after, we spotted other mythicals and started to form strategies for resetting zones to get them to respawn. Throughout the night, we grabbed a few more mythicals while continuing to keep a close eye on our shot placements.

Challenges Along the Way

Even with good shots, we encountered challenges like blowing zones out by taking too many animals and having to travel long distances to retrieve our kills. Despite this, we managed to remain focused on our goal of maximizing our hunting efficiency while enjoying the process.

Closing Thoughts

As the night progressed, we collected various Red Deer while becoming reacquainted with the game mechanics. By the end of our session, we realized that grinding for the Great One can serve as a relaxing, yet thrilling experience. Although no Great One spawned tonight, our efforts didn't go in vain, and we look forward to continuing our journey soon.

Thank you to everyone who joined the stream, and I hope to see you next time for more adventures in The Hunter: Call of the Wild!
