HOW TO GROW YOUR TIKTOK FAST - 2023 TIKTOK GROWTH STRATEGY

Introduction

Hey y’all! Welcome back to my channel! If you’re new here, don’t forget to click the Subscribe button down below and join the family. For my returning buddies, welcome back! I’ve missed you all, but my focus has been on TikTok lately, and I’m excited to share that I successfully grew my TikTok account to 40.3k followers in just two months! Crazy, right?! In this article, I'm going to share the strategies I used to achieve this growth.

Share Your Story

The first step in my growth strategy was sharing my personal story. As a special needs mom, my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called encephalocele, which involves a sac-like protrusion of the skull where his brain was pushing out. Although the doctors were uncertain about his chances of survival, he is now two years old. Before posting on TikTok, I realized there weren’t many people sharing their journeys related to this diagnosis.

Feeling isolated, I took to TikTok to document our experiences. My aim was to reach out to others who might be going through similar struggles, hoping to provide a sense of hope and community. So, if you have a story to tell or an experience that could help others, don’t hesitate to share it—there are people out there who need to hear it.

Be Consistent

Once I started sharing my story and noticed my follower count rising, I understood the importance of consistency. TikTok's algorithm seems to favor regular posts, and I quickly realized I had to engage with my audience consistently. I began posting "day in the life" videos, showing my daily routine and how I navigated being a special needs mom. Authenticity is key; people appreciate relatable content.

Be Authentic

Authenticity was crucial to my growth on TikTok. I presented my life as it truly is, embracing the chaos and imperfections instead of striving for an aesthetic perfection. By being vulnerable and real, I was able to attract a community of like-minded individuals who resonate with my struggles. Authenticity builds trust and connection with your audience.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

If you're hesitant to put yourself out there because of fear of judgment, remember this: everyone's opinion is different. You might worry about how you'll be perceived or if your content meets certain standards, but ultimately, it's essential to share your voice. I used to fear posting on platforms like YouTube and Instagram, but I eventually pushed through that fear and took action.

Just Do It

Finally, don't let fear hold you back! Whether it's the fear of judgment or the lack of quality equipment, the important thing is to take the initiative. For those who want to grow on TikTok—or any platform, really—take that leap, document your journey, and embrace the process.

In addition to sharing my TikTok strategies, I also run a small business called Rare Genetics, where I sell apparel aimed at spreading awareness about rare genetic disorders. Supporting awareness for my son’s diagnosis is crucial to me, and if you’re interested, you can check out the link in the description for a variety of products!
