    To begin, you need a VPN to mask your location. This VPN will allow us to appear as if we are in the US. In my previous experience, I used Turbo VPN, which is available for both Mac and Windows users. Alternatively, you can use other reliable VPN services like NordVPN.

    • Setting up the VPN:
      • Open Turbo VPN and set your location to the United States.
      • Confirm your new location by searching for "current location" on Google, which should display a US location.

  2. Using Incognito Mode

    To ensure privacy and proper setup, open a new incognito window in your browser.

  3. Accessing TikTok for Business

    • Search for "TikTok for Business" and navigate to the official site.
    • Click on "Create Now" to start creating your TikTok Ad account.

  4. Creating the Account

    • Fill in your email address, password, and agree to TikTok's terms and conditions.
    • Verify your account via the code sent to your email.

  5. Setting Up Business Information

    • Since the control region should already be set to the US, enter your business name or personal name.
    • Input your US phone number.
    • Select your industry and currency (USD).

  6. Setting Up Billing Information

    • After registering, you may need to set up your billing information. Click on "Go to Ad Manager" and select your state.
    • Choose either manual payment (top-up option) or automatic payment methods like PayPal, credit/debit card, or Venmo.

  7. Finalizing the Ad Account Setup

    • Complete your business center details by specifying the business type, billing method, and time zone.
    • Play around with the settings to familiarize yourself with the TikTok Ads platform.
