How Much The TikTok Creator Fund Pays Me Monthly
Step 1: Markdown Article with All Details
Introduction
Hi guys, welcome back to the channel! Today, I'm bringing you the third episode of building a TikTok theme page from scratch, where we aim to create an account starting from zero followers and grow it to a following of 10k and above, aiming to make it a source of income through the TikTok creator fund. If you haven't seen the previous two videos in this series, they'll be on the screen somewhere, or in the description below, or you can go to the playlist on my channel to watch all the videos within this series. I appreciate the fantastic support and feedback from the last video; many of you commented with questions about building a theme page, which was wonderful to see. Hopefully, you will enjoy the video I have prepared for today—if you do, please make sure to hit the like button and subscribe to the channel, it would really help me out a lot.
Before we get into the video, I want to disclaim that you aren't guaranteed to make money doing this as I have. Everything I'm saying and doing in this video is for your entertainment only. Now, let's get into the video.
As you can tell by the title, I've now been in the TikTok creator fund for exactly one month. I have no idea where the time's gone as the last episode in this series was about applying for the creator fund. In a moment, I'll show you exactly how much I have earned on the creator fund in the past month, but I can safely say that it's been better than expected. Before we get into that, let's give a quick update on how the account's been doing over the past couple of weeks.
In the last video, we were at least at 10k followers as I applied for the fund then. I think we ended it around 13 to 15k followers. I can now safely say that after a couple of weeks, the account has now over doubled, and we are at 30k followers with a clean 1.2M likes on the page. Since hitting 10k, it was almost an accelerated effect—soon after, I was on 15k, then 20k, and now 30k. This was massively helped by some recent videos, one of them being my most viewed at around 1.9M views, followed by another at 1.5M views, then 650k views, and a recent one which I posted last week is already at 620k views.
I have noticed a correlation between views and follower growth, but with TikTok, this isn't always the case. You're not guaranteed a viral video every post; however, by gaining followers, it's definitely going in my favor. I also have my own hashtag, #wealthminded, which now has 15.1M views, indicating roughly how many views we've accumulated on the page.
Regarding the content, I've switched it up by using an app called CapCut, which many of you might know from the 3D CapCut trend. I started using it to vary my content and put more effort into my posts. I am also still using iMovie a bit. If you want a tutorial on how to use CapCut or iMovie, let me know in the comments, and I'll probably do it in a later video in this series.
Other things like the profile picture and bio, including the Coinbase affiliate link, are still the same. I am still promoting the YouTube channel because I want views. In all seriousness, I am grateful for the support on the channel, big up to the over 200 subs!
Now for what you're really here for: this is how much my TikTok theme page has made me in the last month.
In total, my TikTok theme page made over 150 pounds from the TikTok creator fund in just the past month, plus a small additional 14 pounds from my Coinbase affiliate link. Initially, I didn't expect much from the affiliate link, which is why I plan to use Plug in the future. However, I'm pretty impressed with the creator fund. I didn't fully understand how often payment updates would come in the last video, but I've realized payments can be withdrawn after 30 days, making it almost like a monthly payment.
I've not withdrawn any money yet, so technically, I haven't earned anything, but my balance so far is over 150 pounds. The first payment I noticed was over 10 pounds for just one day. I couldn't maintain this consistently as some days were as low as 50 pence, and the highest day was around 13.43 pounds. On average, daily earnings ranged from 5 to 10 pounds. I've determined roughly that 500k views on my page can make me 10 pounds. My highest paying day occured with around 750 to 800k views, yielding 13.50 pounds.
In sum, 150 pounds for the first month isn't bad, especially considering many big creators make more through sponsorships and brand deals. If we keep this growth pace and assume no further growth (although we are still growing), 150 pounds a month equates to about 1.8k a year—already more than you’d get investing 10k in the S&P 500. Hence, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome so far.
For future targets, I'm aiming for 500k views a day, roughly 15M views a month to earn 300 pounds monthly. If I eventually aim for a grand a month, I would need 50M views monthly.
Considering how well this project turned out, especially having started it from scratch and with no monetary investment, I'm planning to reinvest the money earned into the stock market.
It’s time for me to sign off as I have to get to work. I record these videos around my work schedule and edit them late at night. If you've watched till the end, please leave a like and make sure to subscribe to the channel.
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one. In a bit!
