Don’t Work at Target #dont

Working at Target isn't for everyone; in fact, it requires a special kind of grit and resilience. Despite the high number of applicants, Target hires very few people. But surprisingly, getting hired might actually be the worst day of your life.

Consider my experience as a cautionary tale. I once applied for a position at Target with a paper application. Spotting an employee named Chester, I approached him and asked, "Excuse me, Chester, where can I drop off this paper application?"

To my shock, Chester took the application from my hands, walked directly over to the nearest trash can, and threw it away. Utterly confused, I exclaimed, "Chester!" In response, he calmly said, "I did you the biggest favor ever. Now go outside and live your life."

After that eye-opening interaction, I bought a couple of things from the store and never returned to Target. It made me realize that sometimes, what seems like a setback might actually be a blessing in disguise.

So, as I mentioned earlier, I'm not sure if this can be considered good news or not. But if you're thinking about working at Target, please consider this experience.
