Don’t Buy Google Pixel Devices!

As friends, you can see by the title, I'm never buying a Google Pixel phone again. My Pixel device got bricked due to a factory reset. I was planning to sell the device and it was on the Android 14 stable build from the June update, I believe. However, after performing the factory reset, the phone got bricked. Now, I can no longer boot into the OS and I can’t even install factory images from Google.

I've tried rescue mode, but there's nothing I can do because my device is OEM locked, I believe. It has been almost 28 days since Google acknowledged this issue. The solution they came up with was to chat with them or call them.

I have already chatted with them. The fix they’re providing me is to send in my device for diagnosis. Since I live outside of the EU and US, they are going to charge me because my device is out of warranty. This is totally a bad practice from Google. Because of a factory reset, I now have to pay almost more than $ 200.
