Building the Shopify Store

Website Design

For the website design, I used a short description approach inspired by competitors who were getting more sales. This reverse engineering approach was highly effective.

Offer and Pricing Strategy

Competitors were using a low selling price plus additional shipping at checkout. To replicate their success, I also set a low initial price and added a $ 14 shipping fee at checkout. This strategy capitalizes on customer psychology—they think they're getting a steal until the final stage, making it difficult for them to back out.

  • Product Photos: One for each color and several variants.
  • Description: Short with main benefits, sizing chart, and customer reviews.
  • Homepage: Simple with a featured product and a contact form.

Ad Strategy

Acquiring Ad Creatives

Using the "Creative Finder" tool by Mina, we uploaded an image of our product to find all videos ever made for it. After finding these, we downloaded the high-quality videos to repurpose them for our TikTok ads.

Editing Videos

We used CapCut to make minor edits like changing prices or updating the currency symbol, making the ad relevant to our campaign.

TikTok Ad Campaigns and Scaling

Campaign Setup

Over five days, we launched 47 different CBOs (Campaign Budget Optimization campaigns). We spent $ 9,675.24 on ads in just five days.

Scaling Strategy

Every day, profitable CBOs were duplicated three times to create a spiderweb effect. Every three profitable sales led to the campaign budget being doubled, allowing for aggressive scaling.
