I recently embarked on an exciting challenge to see if I could grow from $ 0 to $ 10,000 in sales through TikTok Shops within just 30 days. Now that the month has come to a close, I want to take you through the steps I took, the challenges I faced, and most importantly, the results I achieved.

Step 1: Choosing the Right Product

The first step in my journey was to identify a product that met two critical criteria:

  1. Market Demand: I wanted to choose a product that someone was already selling successfully. I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel; my focus was on finding a product that had proven to work in the marketplace.

  2. Personal Connection: I also wanted a product I could confidently promote. For instance, I would struggle to sell a makeup product because I don’t wear makeup myself. After some research, I stumbled upon a pair of stylish jeans from the brand Streets of Commi. Not only did I like the design, but I also discovered that I could find the same product on AliExpress, making it a viable option for resale.

Step 2: Setting Up a TikTok Shop

The next hurdle was to create a TikTok Shop for selling the jeans. Since I was starting with a brand new TikTok account, I faced the challenge of not meeting the 5,000-follower requirement for setting up a shop. However, I found a special workaround that allowed me to move forward even with zero followers.

Step 3: Content Creation and Engagement

With the shop set up, I needed to create engaging content. I produced several TikTok videos promoting the jeans, which turned out to be quite successful. My two biggest videos generated about 300,000 views collectively, while the additional videos garnered around another 100,000 views combined.

Results: The Outcome of the Challenge

At the end of 30 days of hard work and consistent posting, I achieved a staggering total of $ 113,000 in sales. This result was well beyond my initial goal of $ 10,000, proving that with the right product and strategy, significant sales can be made in a short amount of time.
