Vintage As Far As The Eye Can See!! Antique Mall/ Shop With Me! Vintage for resale!
Introduction
I recently embarked on an exciting adventure to an antique shop in Iowa with my trusty sidekick, Twiggy. Having visited this location about a year ago, I was thrilled to explore its vast offerings once again, hunting for unique pieces for my personal collection and possible resale. Join me as I take you through this gem of a store, filled with vintage treasures and delightful finds!
Upon entering the antique store, I was immediately captivated by its sheer size, making it easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of items displayed. Nevertheless, my enthusiasm kept me pushing through to discover what was in store.
One of my first finds was a charming tin litho set, which featured lovable vintage characters. Nearby, I spotted the iconic "My Pet Monster" toy. For collectors, this item can fetch around $ 250 if it comes complete with its original handcuffs.
I couldn’t resist the cute little egg holders with rosy cheeks and marveled at the fascinating array of booths filled with vintage Christmas decorations. Among my purchases, I found a Cabbage Rose sugar dish, a long-sought addition to my collection. As I roamed the store, I also noticed the vast assortment of other vintage holiday items—a true treat for a collector!
The store also showcased a plethora of dolls, with a particular eye-catching teen girl head vase that I have been wanting for some time. Other charming items included antique cards, mid-century toys, and a plethora of vintage dolls. There were even numerous vintage Christmas decorations to choose from!
As I continued through the store, I discovered a beautiful Victorian photo album, but I was careful not to disturb it too much due to its immaculate condition. I also came across a delightful little corn on the cob notepad holder, which was on the pricier side, so I left it behind.
Among my other delightful finds were some unique mini vintage dolls, which would eventually find homes through my live sales on Whatnot. As I navigated through the aisles, I stumbled on a cute Reuben's elephant planter and a fantastic Royal Copley cookie jar, which I had to take home.
The journey didn't stop there. From Halloween decorations to merry mushrooms, and even some fascinating clown figures (which aren't typically my preference), I encountered a plethora of unusual finds that would catch any collector's eye.
And though I forgot to film a proper outro, I wrapped up my visit knowing that I’d be showing off many of these treasures in an upcoming haul video.
Stay tuned for my next post, where I’ll delve deeper into the collection I gathered on this fun antiquing expedition!
