WEEKLY VLOG: Wednesday's Whopper, TikTok shop, viral bow pjs, HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, content creation
Introduction
Welcome back to another vlog! It’s Tuesday, and I’ve just finished getting ready because I have a ton of content to film. First on my list are these pink striped pants, which I ordered from TikTok shop. I'm planning to pair them with a soft pink tank top from Target that has a built-in bra. It’s not super cropped, which I love, and goes below my belly button.
To complete the look, I'm adding this adorable bow cardigan from Cider, also snagged from TikTok shop. I ordered it in a large due to reviews that mentioned the sleeves running short, and I have long arms. I also bought a pink sweater dress from Lulu, which I’ll pair with some BR boots. Additionally, I got a trendy bag, a dupe of the popular Poen bag, which closely resembles the original Louis Vuitton design, complete with a little coin purse. This bag costs around $ 60, and it’s perfect for fall. I’m also adding a cute bow necklace I got from Lulu to the mix.
While I was out shopping, I came across some leopard print pants and bow pants from Cider. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered them in large rather than medium or small, so I’ll have to tighten them around my waist when I try them on. I also visited Target over the weekend and found a bag that had been the last one in stock. The color caught my eye, and it perfectly matched my freshly painted nails, making it feel like a sign I should buy it.
After completing a bit of content creation, I plan to head to the mall to pick up the viral bow pajama set from Hollister. The PJs are white with pink bows and have been flying off the shelves. I ordered a few sizes to try on at the store. There’s also a super cute teddy bear pajama set available, but it’s sold out, and I'm really hoping it gets restocked.
While at the mall, I intend to stop by Foot Locker to try on the Ugg Taz platforms. They’ve caught my eye more than the Tazmin clogs I currently own, but I want to ensure they fit well since I’ve heard mixed reviews about their comfort.
After trying on outfits for my video, I felt cute in my outfit – it gave off fall vibes with a perfect combination of pink and brown. Although I forgot to add a crucial accessory to my setup, I won’t sweat it because I can create a separate video for that item.
I’ve got three videos ready to edit now. I find that batch filming is my way to go, although it can sometimes feel overwhelming since I have a compilation of content to edit. That said, I'm heading to the mall to break the editing cycle and to grab my Hollister order.
Once I reached Hollister, I found the pajamas cute but a bit unflattering on me. After that, I ventured to Anthropologie for bow socks I had wanted. What’s wonderful about these socks is that the bows are on both sides, making them great for aesthetic photos.
Following my shopping spree, I am off to HomeGoods and TJ Maxx, as I had heard great things about their new home decor items, especially their bow-themed items. I'm particularly interested in a glittery bow tree topper for my upcoming holiday decorations and a shower curtain for my newly installed shower head filter. To my surprise, I discovered some cute shower curtains while browsing, as well as beautiful throw pillows I completely fell in love with.
In the end, I decided against the Christmas-themed shower curtain, as it felt unnecessary to get one for each holiday, settling on something more versatile.
On Thursday, I finally got around to doing my hair and makeup in preparation for a busy day. I enjoyed my time creating content, even though my new pajamas didn’t feel as flattering as I had anticipated. My day then took a turn as I decided to pick my husband up from the airport, leading to a spontaneous drive to try the infamous Wednesday Whopper meal from Burger King.
After a bit of a hunt for the elusive purple buns, we finally secured our meals and churros to try. The burger was a huge success, leading to an enjoyable dinner with my husband, where we wrapped up the evening making Halloween-themed stackable cookies.
