Trying VIRAL TikTok Shop Items | *BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW*

Introduction

Today’s video presents me with another opportunity to evaluate those products that TikTok has relentlessly promoted to me over the past weeks. If you’re like many who find themselves succumbed to the countless advertisements on TikTok, you may have experienced the same phenomenon. I’ll be discussing a variety of items today, covering categories including food, health and beauty, and clothing and accessories. This review is genuinely unfiltered, and my aim is to provide an honest assessment of these items—from things I love to things that make me cringe.

1. The Satcho Lip Stain

To kick things off, let’s discuss the Satcho lip stains. These products have been featured prominently on TikTok. The concept is intriguing; they apply as a dark color and then peel off, leaving a long-lasting lip stain. I purchased one in the shade "Mauve," which set me back $ 19.94, including shipping and taxes. Unfortunately, although the product claims to last, I found it didn’t hold up as long as advertised. The application was thick, and while the color was beautiful, it didn’t adhere well to my lips, especially on the top lip. After testing it for a couple of hours, I noticed fading, which, while still giving a pleasant hue, certainly fell short of the expectations set by social media.

2. The "Please Be Patient With Me" T-Shirt

Next up is a T-shirt I bought titled "Please Be Patient With Me, I'm From The 1900s." Considering I am indeed a child of the late 1900s, I couldn’t resist this purchase. The quality exceeded my expectations; it was comfy, oversized, and has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. This shirt, from Refinery number one, cost me $ 22.98, with taxes included, and I’ve worn it countless times since.

3. Cow Slippers

Adorable cow slippers were next on my shopping list. Promoted heavily on TikTok, they were around $ 3.59 with free shipping. What I received was disappointing, to say the least; I discovered one of the slippers was moldy upon arrival. Mold appeared to be festering due to moisture accumulated while packed. Although the other slipper was fine, they both reflected the poor quality standards. They’ve since been relegated to the trash.

4. Peelable Gummy Candies

Moving on, I tested out the peelable gummy candies, which were also all over TikTok. Sold in packs, these gummies are crafted to mimic fruit peeling. I purchased various flavors, but found the “peelable” attribute wasn’t as promising as shown in the ads. The banana version worked better than the others, but overall, they were just okay in flavor and texture.

5. Prime Brownie Bites

The promised delights of Prime brownie bites turned out to be a massive disappointment. I sampled several flavors and found them rather repugnant, tasting overly artificial and off-putting. Even attempting to eat the blueberry and cinnamon roll flavors yielded unpleasant reactions. Packing in protein might have compromised the taste, and I eventually decided to donate the majority of these bites.

6. Kot USA Pans

The detachable-handle pans from Kot USA were the final item I evaluated. This innovative design caught my eye due to its space-saving convenience. My cooking experience with these pans was mixed; the first egg I made turned out resembling a disaster—rather sticky and oddly textured. However, with a little more practice, they proved to be satisfactory for regular use.

In summary, while TikTok advertisements can inspire some interesting finds, the reality can be hit or miss. I found some items delightful, while others were a series of unfortunate events.

Overall, my experience has highlighted the vast discrepancies between the TikTok hype and real-world use!
