Starting in January, I embarked on a journey by opening a TikTok shop. My primary purpose was to eventually sell my own product on TikTok. However, since I wasn't sure what product to sell just yet, I decided to dip my toes into the world of affiliate marketing. I started by promoting products already listed on TikTok Shop—this way, I could earn some side income and simultaneously figure things out for my grand launch.

In recent days, some thrilling developments have taken place. I joined the accelerator program, and purely by luck, I got into a Discord group filled with creators who generously shared their tips and tricks. Through this community, I learned how to request samples from suppliers, and now I have several samples coming my way.

Additionally, I've noticed an uptick in brands reaching out to me, expressing interest in collaboration. Although I only have about 90 followers at the moment, it seems my efforts are beginning to pay off. I've also taken the initiative to reach out to a few brands, though not all of them have responded yet, which is understandable given my minimal following. Nonetheless, every little step is a move in the right direction.
