Tik Tok paying less than ever

Tik Tok Paying Less Than Ever

It seems like everywhere you look, there are videos that promise you can make $ 10,000 a month on TikTok now that the creativity program is no longer in beta. But in reality, these videos can be pretty misleading. Here's how the program ending its beta phase has affected my income.

I'll show you guys two of my recent videos: one was almost at 100,000 views, and the other one was almost at half a million. I was hoping to see an increase in earnings from the 10 to 38 cents per video that I was getting before, but it seems like my earnings actually went down a little bit. Not all views on these videos are considered "qualified," but there's a decent number of qualified views, and that's what the RPM (revenue per thousand views) is based on.

I'm not entirely sure, but it seems extremely unlikely that anyone is making $ 10,000 a month just from TikTok views. As for my income from TikTok lives, out of the last 120 hours that I've been live, I've received almost $ 50.

Despite this, I'm not going anywhere. I'll keep making short-form content, sponsored videos, and products on my website, where the revenue is more reliable. YouTube also performs better for me financially. TikTok makes its money through ads that you see between videos and gives a small percentage of that ad revenue to creators in this program.
