The TikTok Shop Affiliate Program

Introduction

I have two videos on TikTok that are making hundreds of dollars a day, and I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t test it myself. Let me share my journey so far.

If you're new here, my name's Adam. I've been doing affiliate marketing for most of my adult life. I left my corporate job because I hated sitting in a cubicle, and now I'm testing programs that gurus talk about online to find out which ones actually work.

Unlike other channels, I don't like to talk about hypothetical ways to make money. I prefer to try the things myself and then show my results, hoping you can recreate some of my successes.

This video is no different. I've been testing the TikTok Shop affiliate program for a few days now, and I am convinced by my own data and results. Here's exactly what products are selling well and the actual videos that I made, so you can copy and paste to hopefully get similar results.

My Results

I started testing the program about a week or two ago with one product and one video. That one video got around 1,500 views and sold one product, making a little over $ 6. This small success showed potential.

Research and Strategy

I got super excited and tried to understand the TikTok algorithm. I researched products that were trending and working really well for other creators using a program called CADA. This software is expensive but powerful, making it almost copy and paste work.

You can go into CADA, look up specific products or creators, and see what types of products are making money. For example, a waterproof rechargeable headlamp is making someone 27k in revenue so far. You can watch the actual video, download it, export the script, and make your own version.

Tools and Alternative Methods

Even though CADA is great, it can be expensive. If you don't want to pay for it, there are free methods. You can go to the TikTok shop on your phone, go to the product marketplace, and sort by bestsellers. Then, you can check those products on TikTok to get video ideas.

Products That Worked for Me

Two products that worked well for me are a flashlight and a smart scale. They’re available on Amazon and TikTok shop, allowing me to do Amazon influencer reviews and TikTok shop affiliate reviews for these products. Double whammy!

I found out on CADA that these are trending products making lots of money for others. So I made my own videos:

Surprisingly, the effort needed for these videos is minimal, but they saw success.

Secret Sauce

The interesting part was when I used TikTok’s internal promote system to boost these videos. Initially, I didn’t break even but after the promotion, the videos started rolling on their own and generating organic traffic, making hundreds of dollars a day!

Could boosting these posts have influenced the algorithm? It’s possible.
