Creating a consistent and engaging stream of TikTok content can be challenging. Let me show you three different ways I come up with ideas for TikTok videos and how I keep them organized, which allowed me to create 150 pieces of content in October.
Organization
I keep the organization super simple. I use the Notes app on my phone to maintain a running list of ideas. This way, anytime an idea strikes, I can jot it down immediately. Here's how I generate these ideas:
1. The "For You" Page or Random Ideas
The first technique is leveraging the "For You" page. Whenever I see a video that resonates with me, whether it be the framework or the content itself, I copy that video style into my notes. I'll also add a reference so I know what to change or update for my version. Sometimes, random ideas just pop into my mind, and those go straight into my notes as well.
2. Referencing Other Accounts in My Space
The second method is analyzing other accounts within my niche. Observing what's working for them, such as which types of videos are going viral. I take notes on these successful trends and then repurpose those ideas for my own content. This helps ensure that my content stays relevant and engaging.
3. Google News
This is my favorite method, and one that not many talk about. Simply go to Google and search for your niche, then filter to the "News" section. This will provide you with all the recent trends and news within your niche, which you can report on or use as inspiration for your TikTok content.
