I tested the most VIRAL TikTok gadgets!

Introduction

We're about to test the most viral gadgets on TikTok to find out if lots of views actually mean something is good.

Exercise Bike Laptop Stand - 120,000 Views

I have some doubts about the stability, and I can't believe how much this thing costed - $ 60. We've got two very satisfying looking peels to pull off here, and it's better than any phone peel I've ever experienced. However, the stand scraped a little of the material away, which isn’t a great start.

To be fair, it allowed me to use my laptop while exercising though it was a bit wobbly and not very comfortable to perch on. Overall, I'd rate this as a 5 out of 10 for the price.

Smartphone Bin Cleaner - 300,000 Views

This is a bin for your smartphone screen and it's called Whoosh, the official screen cleaning fluid Apple uses. The side by side comparison seemed a bit suspect, but the product itself looked premium with a microfiber cloth included in the box.

I tested it on a very dirty phone and appreciated the 500 ml bottle size, which was impressive. After testing, in a couple of strokes, my phone screen was shining clean. I give this a 9 out of 10 - the only downside being the mess it created.

Wardrobe Space Saver - 300,000 Views

Does this gadget, which claims it can save wardrobe space, actually work? The contraption looked strange initially. Normally, five shirts take up a significant horizontal space, but this storage solution did reduce the cubic volume of air between each shirt by a factor of 3.5.

The garments now rested lower, taking up more vertical space, but overall the volume in storage was significantly reduced. I'd rate this a 9 out of 10.

Vertical Waffle Maker and Cocktail Glass - Various Views

The vertical waffle maker seemed like a cool idea. But the cocktail glass that stirs drinks and uses an app-made cocktails interesting. Despite connection issues via Bluetooth, it allowed me to mix lemonade and ginger ale efficiently. The drink tasted well mixed, but the gadget seemed a bit over the top for its purpose.

Soda Can Pump - 500,000 Views

This gadget is designed to stop your drink from going flat by creating a vacuum at the top of the can. I tested it by sealing a soda can and leaving it for three days. Upon reopening, it was still completely fizzy. It worked as advertised.

Slicer - Various Views

I was cautiously optimistic about this slicer designed for small vegetables. It worked reasonably well but sometimes didn’t slice uniformly unless the vegetable fit perfectly into the chamber. It potentially saves a bit of time but wasn't perfect, so I gave it a 6 out of 10.

AAA to AA Battery Converter - Various Views

These cases convert AAA batteries into AA batteries. I tested it successfully on my Game Boy Color. This gadget does everything you expect it to do, hence earning the first 10 out of 10.

Showerhead Bluetooth Speaker - 1 Million Views

This Bluetooth speaker attaches to the showerhead, charges from a spinning turbine, and tracks water usage and temperature. It’s a bit pricey at $ 120 but retains water pressure well and features a good, albeit not exceptional, sound quality.

Bubble Spa Mat - Various Views

The Bath Bubble Spa Mat covers the entire bath and generates relaxing bubbles, though it’s very loud. The noise detracts from the relaxing experience, making it a less desirable product despite its effectiveness. I gave it a 9 out of 10 for the bubbles.

Veggie Chop - Massive Onions - Various Views

This gadget effectively chops vegetables when manually cranked. It worked better than expected, providing finely chopped onions. It is a bit of a cleaning nightmare but performs its job well.

Nasal Irrigation System - 3 Million Views

This gadget flushes your sinuses. Initially unpleasant, it ultimately provided a clear nose and relief. I rated it an 8 out of 10.

Self-Heating Cooking Pot - Various Views

The idea of cooking while in bed appeared dangerous and impractical, but the device indeed cooked instant noodles. Despite its effectiveness, it was not safe or convenient.

Banana Filler - Various Views

This gadget cores a banana to fill it with substances like Nutella. Though it looked like a fun novelty, it’s cumbersome and messy to use.

Crunch Cup - Various Views

This gadget keeps cereal and milk separate until consumption. It practically didn’t work very well as the milk dispersed faster than the cereal, making it less useful.

Spiral Candles - Various Views

These candles burn in a spiral, melting wax centrally to be reused as a normal candle. Despite burning for a lesser time, its novelty made it charming.

Smart Door Lock - 10 Million Views

This Smart Lock allows for password and fingerprint access. Despite its expensive price, the installment seemed clunky, and it had less-than-impressive LED configurations.

Automatic Door Closer - 20 Million Views

This small gadget attaches to a door to close it automatically. It had a strong adhesive and worked effectively in my testing.

Jar Opening Robot - 65 Million Views

An interesting small robot that clamps onto a jar to unscrew it automatically. It worked perfectly, though it's a niche product.
