i made a mistake building my startup #coding #developer #programming — posted from SocialQueue.ai

Introduction

Recently, I committed what is considered one of the most classic software engineer mistakes while trying to build my own business. In the tech world, there's been a significant trend involving something called holding companies. Essentially, these are companies that own other companies beneath them. Alphabet is a prime example of one such holding company. This concept of building a holding company is something I eventually want to pursue.

About a month or two ago, I launched my very first product, called The Content Marketing Blueprint. However, over the past month, I've been focusing most of my energy on developing my second product. But then it hit me—what’s the point of building a second product if the first one hasn't been successful yet?

It's already incredibly challenging to take one product from 0 to 1. I realized that trying to do this for two products simultaneously was only making my life harder. Therefore, I decided to delay the launch of my second product until the first one achieves a significant revenue milestone—something in the range of $ 10,000 to $ 50,000.

For the next 6 months, I'm going to be laser-focused on improving The Content Marketing Blueprint. My aim is to grow it to its full potential and make it the best possible product it can be. Fingers crossed that I don't fall victim to shiny object syndrome!
