How To Make MONETIZABLE TikTok Clips

How To Make MONETIZABLE TikTok Clips

Introduction

Imagine a world where every video you post isn't just a drop in the digital ocean; it's a rocket launch straight to the stars, filling your pockets like a jackpot every single time. That's the dream, right? And I'm here to make it your reality. After countless fails and thousands of viral videos, I've found the secret to success. This is the secret sauce to consistently hitting the viral jackpot.

Avoiding Content Strikes on TikTok

Virality on TikTok is a thin line between getting struck for unoriginal content and receiving zero views for super boring videos. In the first part, I'm going to explain how to make sure that you never get struck again. In the second part, I'll reveal the secret to going viral every time.

At least half of you are in niches where you use some kind of background, and most of you downloaded the same Minecraft parkour video from YouTube. TikTok's algorithm can easily detect this since there are thousands of videos using the same Minecraft video. For TikTok, this means they are not original or at least not original enough to go on the For You Page.

Three Solutions to This Problem:

  1. Create Your Own Content: You can download the game and screen record the gameplay yourself, but that can take some time.

  2. Hire Someone: You can pay someone on Fiverr, which will cost a few bucks.

  3. Mix Multiple Clips: Mix multiple clips from different YouTube videos for one background, using only a few seconds from each.

I recommend using something else entirely, like a completely different game. Here are a few examples. Some creators try to mirror the footage to fool TikTok's algorithm, but trust me, if you get away with it now, you won't in the future as the algorithm gets better.

Not everyone gets strikes for this reason alone. If you're not using any kind of background footage and you still have problems but don't know why, maybe it's because of watermarks in your video. TikTok might think you stole somebody's content if there is any kind of big logo from a major corporation or even a small brand inside the frame of the video. Therefore, I always blur or cut out the logos. Here's how you do it in a few seconds using CapCut, which is super easy to use and free:

  1. Duplicate the Video: Add the blur effect to it, then mask out everything except for the part you wanted to blur.
  2. Add Key Frames: Make a new key frame every time the logo moves.

Addressing Podcast Clips

Another tricky niche is podcast clips or just clipping YouTube videos. These are the easiest to get banned and struck but also the easiest to fix if you know how. Here's my trick:

  1. Add an Image: Add any image to the timeline, shorten it to 1 second, and lower the opacity to zero.
  2. Repeat Every 20 Seconds: Copy and paste this every 20 seconds. Visually see where you need to break the original footage with some kind of b-roll.
  3. Use Stock Footage: I usually use free stock footage from Pexels. Download it and place it on the timeline where it should be.

The key is to cover 100% of the video for 2 to 4 seconds every 20 seconds without losing the viewer’s attention.

The Strategy for Virality

Now you have an original video but no views. How do you change that? The strategy I'm going to share is what took me from 5,000 views to 5 million views. Choosing the right niche and crafting good hooks obviously helped, but I can't cover everything in one video. Key Steps:

  1. Cut Unnecessary Poses: Before you start editing, cut out any unnecessary poses. Whether it's a YouTube video, podcast, or even an AI-generated voiceover, remove the pauses. Viewers will scroll away the moment they feel bored.
  2. Manipulate Attention: Keep the viewer engaged so that TikTok has a reason to push your video to a broader audience.

Editing Tips:

  1. Use Images with Lowered Opacity: Paste an image with lowered opacity every 2 seconds and fill it with pop-ups and sound effects. These need to make sense and be relatable to your audience.
  2. Sound Effects: Use recognizable sound effects like video game noises or notifications from Discord or iPhone to make the content immersive.
  3. Transitions: If you use transitions, make sure they enhance the video without breaking focus. Avoid changing the direction of transitions too much.
  4. Captions: Add captions but keep them to one line to avoid making the video visually overwhelming. For hooks, longer texts are okay because you need a good reason to make the viewer watch till the end.

Monetization for Non-US Creators

If you're not from the United States, making big money on TikTok might seem tough. I also am not from the United States, but because I use an account made in the United States and target their high-paying audience, I make good money from TikTok. You can get such accounts from the second link in the description.
