Introduction

One of the questions I get all the time is how to add a link from Amazon to my TikTok marketing graphics to promote my books. Here’s how I do it:

Step 1: Create a Graphic

1. Log into a program like Canva.
2. Run a search for TikTok.
3. Find a graphic that you like and add it to your workspace.

Step 2: Add a Box

Add a box to the bottom of your marketing graphic where you will place your link.

Step 3: Find Your Amazon Link

1. Go to Amazon and find the product link for the book you want to promote.
2. This is the long link located at the top of your browser.

Step 4: Copy the Long Link

Copy the long link from your browser's address bar.

Step 5: Shorten the Link

1. Go to a URL shortener like Bitly (bitly.com).
2. Click on "Create New" and then select "Link."
3. Paste the long link and click to shorten it.

Step 6: Copy the Shortened Link

Copy your new shortened link from Bitly.

Step 7: Add the Link to Your Graphic

Paste the shortened link into the box you added to your graphic in Step 2.

That’s pretty much how it’s done.
