How much are you swiping each day

Introduction

A few months ago, we engaged with our TikTok followers by asking them to share their swipe data, and we gathered some fascinating insights from our data reporters. It turns out that our followers are avid swipers!

According to our findings, the average participant swiped over 6 million times in just 5.5 months. On the typical day, a user swiped an average of 18.2 feet, with some users reaching up to an impressive 64 feet and 11 inches, which translates to a whopping 779 swipes in a single day.

When we looked at the collective data, our participants swiped a staggering 9,532 miles over the span of these 5.5 months. To put this into perspective, this is the same distance as driving from Kansas City to the airport, taking a flight to Washington, D.C., and then hopping onto the metro to The Newsroom.

It's clear that our TikTok community is extremely engaged and spends a lot of time on the platform, making for an impressive amount of swiping!
