HIGH END MAKEUP THAT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY #shorts #makeup #highendmakeup #beauty #makeupreview

Introduction

When it comes to high-end makeup products, not every item lives up to the hype. I've had my fair share of experiences, and I’d like to share my thoughts on some popular products that didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation

I had always heard great things about the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation, but sadly, this one just didn’t work for me. The formula is very thick, which can be off-putting, particularly as it tends to look cakey on the skin. Once applied, it dries fast, and unfortunately, it makes my skin appear less than flattering.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer

On the other hand, I generally love Benefit products, but the Boi-ing Concealer was a complete miss for me. It claims to offer good coverage, but I found it lacking in that department. Despite its coverage shortcomings, the concealer feels heavy under the eyes and doesn't blend out easily. Ultimately, it also left a cakey and dry appearance, which I wasn’t thrilled about.

Rare Beauty Mascara

Finally, I'm thankful I didn’t splurge on the full-size Rare Beauty Mascara. My experience with it was disappointing. I felt that both the applicator and the formula did nothing to enhance my lashes. The formula was oddly watery and messy, and what frustrated me the most was that it flaked off throughout the day, leaving behind an unsightly look.

In a market flooded with high-end products, it’s crucial to be selective and informed about what to invest in, as not all items provide the quality we might expect.
