Hair Dyeing Journey
I recently dyed my hair after about 3.5 months, and I'm thrilled with the results. For those who've been following me for a while, you know I typically keep my natural color around the ears. I’ve been using Loreal's Tahiti number 4 for over three years, which is number four in Germany. I also added Smokie Brown gloss, leaving it on for 25 minutes. While it wasn’t quite as cool-toned as I desired, I plan to adjust it in my next shower. The transition is seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Hair Dye Process Video
I recorded a bit of the dyeing process in my bathroom, though the lighting was less than ideal. If the footage didn’t turn out well, I plan to explain the procedure in a separate video because the method I use is absolutely easy. Additionally, I'll make an extra video showing how I style my curls.
DM Shopping Haul
Jonas and I recently went to DM and picked up a few essentials, some new items, and some of our absolute favorites.
- Tempobox: For our tissue dispensers.
- Sensitive Mouthwash: Fondant student’s sensitive mouthwash.
- Balea Med Sensitive Shower Gel: A very clean product, perfect for the body.
- Balea Med Ultra Sensitive Shampoo: Jonas highly recommends it for itchy scalps or those seeking a mild shampoo.
- Sebamed Everyday Shampoo: Another favorite of mine for everyday use.
Hair Care Products
I took home the Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner from Loreal. These products are exceptional, helping to restore broken hair bridges and fill in hair gaps—no substitute for Olaplex, but still excellent nonetheless.
New Hair Serum
I also tried the Plex Care Serum from Balea, designed to be similar to the Elvital range. It includes heat protection up to 220 degrees and serves as a hair serum.
Facial Care Products
For facial care, I picked up the Ultra Sensitive Cleansing Foam from Balea Med. Their entire line, including the washing gel and cleansing milk, is fantastic. If you're ever unsure about which drugstore cleanser or care product to use, I recommend this range. I also got the facial toner and face tissue masks from the sensitive section. Finally, I restocked my Syoss Eyebrow Color in dark brown.
