Food Shopping Haul 3/08/24
Hey everyone!
I have a shopping haul video to share with you today. I went to Asda because I needed wrapping paper, cards, and I wanted to make a birthday cake. All my boys' birthdays are in August, but 's is first, so I needed to get those bits, which are not typically found at Aldi. I decided to make the extra trip to Asda during the time of the yellow labels and see what I could get.
I didn't go last week because of the school holidays, so the kids aren't at school. It was worth going out of my way to get some yellow label items though. Let me show you exactly how much I spent and what I got.
Total Spent
- £61.23
Non-Food Items
- Feminine products: £0.75
- Cat treats: £0.75
- Washing tablets: £2 (on sale due to discontinued fragrance, so I picked up four packs)
- Toilet cleaner: £1.75
- Glade sensor motion: £3.50 (for the bathroom)
- Glade refills: £0.74
- Baby shampoo refill containers: £0.75 (one pack equals two bottles)
Food Items
- Ham: £1.37
- Chicken breast: £1.19 (picked up three packs)
- Chicken and creamy pasta bakes: £1.54 each (decided to dice them up, add extra cheese for a meal)
- Double cream: £0.92
- Yogurts: £0.29
- Fridge raiders: £0.23
- Eggs: £0.43
- Chickpea spread (similar to hummus): £0.77 (worth a try)
- Noodles: stocked up as my kids love them
- Wraps: £0.63 each, picked up three
- Bread: £0.46
- Breakaway bars: £0.62
- Microwavable popcorn: £1.25
- Sprite: £0.87 (individual containers)
- Pancakes: £0.27
- Donuts: £0.52
- Cake mix: £1.50 (to make 's birthday cake)
These cake mixes have a long expiry date up to 2025, so I'll give a box each to the kids for their birthdays.
I also picked up milk and salad earlier in the week.
I hope you guys enjoyed this haul. See you in the next video. Take care, bye!
