Usually, we use these features to promote because when we upload it turns out that the viewers are low. For example, if the viewers are only 200, we use the promote feature because we need to promote this content. After the promotion is finished, the viewers will automatically increase from 200 to, let's say, 2000.

When we upload the next content without promotion, our original viewers might still be only 200, but because our previous content was promoted and became more viral with 2000 viewers, we feel that the content with 200 viewers benefits from this previous promotion.
