Executive Programme in Supply Chain & Logistics Management

During 2019, as the COVID-19 pandemic hit us towards the end of the year, the entire world began focusing on Supply Chains. It became apparent that supply chains were transforming dramatically, with many leveraging rich data sources to make informed decisions regarding supply chain and logistics. As businesses shifted from offline to online decision-making, we saw a need for a more comprehensive program in Supply Chain and Logistics Management.

Recognizing the critical role of supply chains in the success or failure of companies, particularly during COVID times when leaders of various countries discussed supply chain disruptions and their ripple effects on economies, we decided to create a robust educational offering. The aim was to equip supply chain professionals for leadership roles, thereby significantly contributing to their organizations' success.

Traditional supply chains have typically operated in silos, with limited interaction between different sections. However, with the advent of new-age technologies like IoT devices and various sensors, vast amounts of data are being generated. This presents an opportunity to utilize AI and ML tools, a core focus of our program, to optimize supply chains.

Our curriculum is designed to develop the next generation of supply chain leaders. These leaders are essential for improving supply chains and advancing India's position as a burgeoning advanced economy. Topics such as risk management, inventory management, transportation modes, network design, and optimization are thoroughly examined. The availability of new data sources has revolutionized how these problems are approached, and our program targets executives passionate about learning and applying these new methods.

Participants have found the curriculum to be exhaustive and the case studies to be particularly valuable. Online classes have facilitated in-depth discussions on various business models, enhancing the practical knowledge and experience of participants. Elements like IoTs, Industry 4.0, blockchain, and RFID technologies are integral to the course content.

Graduates of this program have reported significant improvements in their professional roles. They have become better project managers and gained a deeper understanding of supply chain management, which has enabled them to lead projects more effectively. The curriculum's relevance to current global disruptions and geopolitical factors was also noted.

Optimization, modeling, and simulation of supply chain networks are key focus areas of this program, enabling participants to design the most efficient supply chain networks. Topics like humanitarian logistics and automation provide a well-rounded understanding of the field, especially in the context of developing countries.

The program aims to prepare senior leadership to manage demand-supply mismatches, variability, and labor shortages during disruptions. By doing so, we hope to benefit participants and help them advance further in their careers.
